 According to the general chair of the next edition of the CSBC, Fabio Tirelo, registrations for the 30th edition of the Congress of the Brazilian Computer Society are now open. CSBC 2010 will take place in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Registrations may be done at the SBC desk until this Thursday July 23rd, 17:00, during CSBC 2009. Those who register until this deadline may win a Traditional Cheese from Minas (known as Queijo de Minas in Portuguese). The winner will be announced this Thursday, 18:00, at the SBC desk. |

SBC Working Groups meet annually during the WEI and discuss current and future actions related to courses of higher education in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Systems, technical courses, among others related to Computer and Information Technology. Especially in the edition of 2009, the working groups will have discussions on specific subjects related to the graduation courses of the Brazilian Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC). The participation of graduate programs' coordinators as well as the general public will be very important for defining the future of education in Brazil.
